To register for their dives, you need to be an HHUC member in good standing, and register as per their process (detailed below).

Please Note: These are not Hart House Underwater Club sanctioned or hosted dives. Divers are responsible for arranging for their own gear, transportation and where needed, accommodation.

Notice to all UofT students – Travel Policy in effect!

All diving events above, except those organized by OUE, are subject to the Hart House student travel policies. Travel in excess of 100km from UofT will require you to be brought to the nearest destination town by means of commercial or professionally organized transportation options (e.g., bus, train, or airplane). If you will be attending a club trip outside of Canada, you are also required to complete a Safety Abroad workshop and be registered in the Safety Abroad database prior to participating in these events. Please register for the most convenient session as soon as possible by visiting the following site:

HHUC will inform you of available transportation options and opportunities for workshops. Compliance is ultimately the student’s responsibility. Self-driving and ride-sharing (including Uber) are in violation of the policy. Non-compliance with the above policies will result in the participant being denied participation and forfeiting the dive participation fees.

For further questions about our dive trips and how the travel policies apply to the HHUC, please email training@hhuc.ca. For all other questions pertaining to the UofT Safety Abroad program, please email safety.abroad@utoronto.ca.
